Nikolay Burdin, Yes, I can't wait to hear a kind word about you, the experts.
Marina Lobanova, I like your photos when I like them, but this one is definitely not the best.
Generally speaking, street photography, shot from a great distance, doesn't look great, it's immediately obvious.
The title is far-fetched, there's no real sense of sadness, and there are also technical flaws.

Nikolai Burdin, Good evening, Nikolai. You have your opinion on the photo, and I have mine, which I stand by... I agree with you about the title, but otherwise, I disagree! This photo is top-notch, in my opinion. Marina, WELL DONE! Thank you.

What's this under a different photo? By the way, I haven't decided yet whether to mention it))
No, for a genre photographer, it's a minus. I shot with this lens about ten years ago, until I realized it wasn't quite right; it lacks presence.
The defect is in the other one; the door on the right is knocked out and overexposed. It's not that important, but the photo was loudly declared a masterpiece, and with the defect, it's not exactly a masterpiece. The shot isn't bad; there's a nice highlight and a nice shadow from the shower, and that's all. Don't take it personally. You can criticize me all you want, I don't mind.
Nikolay Burdin, Something's written in the wrong place, under a different photo :). Let's continue the conversation. Maybe not as high-quality, but effective. Photographers have become spoiled by quality: sometimes overexposed, sometimes overexposed... You need to look deeper, use your imagination. Why aren't we picking on the quality of poor Bresson? LOW, a classic... a benchmark. If someone had written... "He's 2 cm overexposed in LNU..." They'd have eaten him up! And rightly so. Photographic equipment has spoiled us with its ideal. We don't look, but make peace with lenses on websites, stinging each other, licking our wounds, and returning... It's all like the proverb, "Apart is boring, but together is cramped."

Nikolay Burdin, Something's written in the wrong place, under a different photo :). Let's continue the conversation. Maybe not as high-quality, but effective. Photographers have become spoiled by quality: either overexposure or composition... We need to look deeper, use our imagination. Why don't we find fault with the quality of poor Bresson? LOW, a classic... a benchmark. If someone had written... "He's got 2 cm of overexposure here in LNU..." He would have been eaten! And rightly so. Photographic equipment has spoiled us with its ideal. We don't watch, we make peace with lenses on websites, stinging each other, licking our wounds, and returning... It's like the proverb says, "Apart is boring, but together is cramped."
Marina Lobanova, Marina, I didn't mean to offend you, but I think Vladimir's overly laudatory comments will do more harm than good. Objective criticism is always better. After rejection and unacceptance, people still take things into account later. And regarding lenses, I sometimes shoot without them altogether; take a look at my latest one, for example.

Nikolay Burdin, Dear Nikolay, may I ask why you consider your opinion of a photo objective, but mine is not? Thank you.

Vladimir Ermolaev, Perhaps I expressed myself clumsily, without any specific reference to you.
And, anyway, I have no particular desire to respond to you after you ignored my request.
