It would be nice if the author explained this beautiful character...

It would be nice to have an author's explanation for this beautiful character...
Viktor Bukhrov, thank you)
This "One Man" series is a long-term photo project since 2007, and, of course, there have been explanations over the past 9 years, but it would be wrong to constantly explain each photo, especially considering that I'm not a fan of accompanying texts, let alone titles, so as not to confine the viewer to my own authorial framework. However, perhaps naively, I believe that the story behind the scenes can still be read in my photographs.

I'll tell you a story about him, which I haven't yet shared with my photographs, as a description of this man's wondrous life.
On November 22, 1980, the church caught fire. Father Feodor was inside at the time, preparing for the service. The wooden church burned so fiercely that it burned to the ground in just one hour. When Father Feodor ran out of the church, his cassock was on fire, but he still managed to save the cross, the chalice, and the Gospel. I made a sketch about this incident a few days ago:

This incident changed his entire life. He then, despite bans and persecution, built a new church, then founded a monastery. A short story won't suffice

Katerina Manshine, This photo doesn't need a long comment. A name would have been enough; otherwise, it would have been too impersonal, unfortunately...

A look says a lot. A kind look, the look of a man who has seen suffering—that's what it seemed to me.
